Victoria Skin Care Centre offers a complete range of chemical peels to remove dead skin and stimulate growth of new, healthy skin cells.

Chemical peels have been used for over 2000 years, dating back to Ancient Egypt.  The products we use today are more effective, but the procedures are essentially the same.  A chemical peel involves applying a chemical solution to your skin to exfoliate the top layers and excess oil.  This process also stimulates the regrowth of new healthier skin tissue, giving you a firmer, more even-toned complexion. Chemical peels are especially good for treating acne but also help to reduce wrinkles, pigmentation, and scars.  They are usually applied to the face but can be used elsewhere.

They can be combined with other treatments, depending on what you need. Not all chemical peels are the same. Some are superficial or light, while others penetrate deeply. As you might expect, deeper peels require more downtime and can increase the chance of side effects.   That’s why it’s important to work with experienced skincare professionals. We recommend that you schedule a consultation with our team to discuss your needs and goals. We’ll do a thorough skin analysis and then recommend an individualized treatment plan for you.
